SLUT Spring Fling

SLUT-the upcoming web series that’s been populating your social media feeds all winter-is dropping! Join us at The Paper Box, April 27th at 8:30pm for a night of music, comedy, drinks, vendors, and prizes to celebrate!

Join us for:

-Host Larry Owens, Described by the New York Times as “a dynamo…virtuosic…[with] gravitas that could make you weep” and by Time Out New York as a “divine multi-hyphenate.”

- Fun, Fresh, Fierce NYC based Queen Miss Fellatia!

-An acoustic performance by Dakota Jones, a Brooklyn-based blues/rock band, and one of our featured bands in SLUT’s soundtrack! Dakota Jones has been featured in Afropunk and The Deli Mag.

-A musical performance by Micah T. Woods, a gay black angel with soft country and R&B vibes. Per Rolling Stone - “Culture clash never sounded so empowering.”

-DJ Boston Chery, who has been profiled by The Source and will be playing Afropunk this year!

-Raffle prizes galore from sponsors such as Bedstuy Acupuncture & Massage Therapy, Butter & Scotch, Dion Lamar Mills, Fun Factory, Geneva Diva, and more! Raffle tickets will be $2/1 ticket and $5 for 3 tickets.

10% of net proceeds will be donated to Casa Ruby LGBT Community Center, the only LGBTQ bilingual and multicultural organization in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area that provides social services and programs catering to the most vulnerable in the city and surrounding areas.
