We’re excited to present the first installment of Brooklyn Dub Club, a new event series dedicated to showcasing top dub selectors, vocalists and sound systems from around the world. This is not your mama’s punky reggae party. Expect earth-shattering bass, entrancing reverbs and some of the deepest and most exclusive cuts played through Dub-Stuy’s infamous 15,000W hand crafted hi-fi behemoth. For the first edition of Brooklyn Dub Club, UK dub legend and Notting Hill Carnival cornerstone Aba Shanti-I will be making his NYC debut, digging deep into his vaults and playing some of his most crucial records and iconic dubplates. In addition to Aba Shanti-I, the lineup features italian dub producer Sista Habesha alongside vocalist Joshua Hales hailing from California.
